Refino is made by Smarter Foundry.
A small company that builds and runs focused software products. Refino is one of them.
We build our own websites with AI coding agents, the same way a lot of people now do. It is a good way to build a site. It is a poor way to change a sentence on one. Refino began as the tool we wanted for ourselves: open the real page, click the words, change them, save, and have the change go back into our own code.
The idea it is built around is simple. AI can build the site. People should still control the words. And a tool that helps you do that should add itself to the site you have, not ask you to rebuild it somewhere else.
